IPhones: iMessaging people in other countries?
I was wondering if it costs anything to text message people in other countries that also have iPhones (iMessaging)? Like if I, in the USA, texted someone in Australia who also has an iphone?
If it is exclusively through Apple's iMessage system (be sure you're using iMessage and that they are), then it shouldn't cost anything extra for overseas texting.
Yes it would work. Any product that has to do with apple has imessage. So yes even if that person is in Australia, you would be able to text them. As long as their device is connected to internet, 3G, E, or Wi-Fi, you and the other person will be fine

- Will iphone 5 from other countries work in india? IPhone bought in other countries such as UK, USA or any other countries work in India. It may be the unlocked version. What date might it be released?
- Why people like iPhones? I can't never get people who like iphones to give a good reason, why? Some say it easy, but a lot have no clue on how to use their own phones. Can someone explain something useful that great about iphone? Everything they think is special other phones have been doing for years.
- Why does electronic devices in Turkey cost much more than other countries? For example an iphone 6s would cost 700 dolars (roughly 1.700 turkish lira) but when you look at the turkish apple store it says 2.600 turkish lira. Plus if you buy from another country you have to pay an arm and a leg to get it from customs. Why?
