IPod disabled for 22 million minutes.saving things on it

My iPod was dead for awhile. When I found it, I plugged it in and it says its disabled for 22 million minutes. I know to reset it and such, but I have A LOT of music on there that I don't want to lose. My iPod is still connected to my old itunes which is from a laptop I do not have. I do not want to connect it to my current itunes because that is where I have my iphone connected too (with completely different music).

Is there any way that I can reset my ipod or get it to not be disabled for 42 years (lol) without having to lose all my music and pictures?

BTW does anyone know why this happens? Like when I turned my ipod on and it said that it was disabled for 22 million minutes… I had to do a double take. Haha

Is your songs saved in iTunes? I've never heard of 22 Million minutes of disable.
If your songs are not saved in iTunes, you are screwed: P
There's two options.
1. Just re-download the songs:3
2. Just wait 22 Million minutes

  • New update for iPod/IPhone making things crash? I'm not sure if it is doing this to everyone, but I got the newest update- the one they mainly made for iPhone 5 and IPad 2 but it had a few changes for the iPod 4g so I thought why not. The App Store is completely jacked up. It's either extremely slow or every time I go on it, it immediately crashes and I can hardly ever get a new app. Is this happening to anyone else? What can I do about it?
  • My iphone is disabled for 23 million minutes? It was dead for a few days and I turned it on to find it disabled. I don't want to restore it and lose all my data.
  • My iphone is diabled for 6 million minutes? What to do? Okay so its an iphone 3 or 3s because its in the shape of an ipod not squared like the iphone 4. • IPhone is disabled try again in 22 million minutes? When you get too many wrong pass code attempts on an iPhone it says "iPhone is disabled try again in 22 million minutes" if someone wait the 22 million min. (like 40 years) what would happen, what would come next?
