IPod is frozen on my iPhone 4?

When I go onto the music/iPod section of my iPhone 4, my phone becomes frozen on that screen. I can't change the song, press play, change the volume etc. Does anyone know how to solve this?

This will work:
1)connect to pc or mac.
2)start iTunes
3)goto your device and click restore
4)iTunes will now download your os
5)it will also ask you to agree to the agreements.
6)and after downloading it will install the os. You can then sync the iPhone again. Whole process takes 3hours.

OR

1)sync your iPhone with iTunes on your pc.
2)disconnect your phone.
3)goto settings-general-reset-erase all content and settings. (Don't worry as you have synced every thing. U won't lose any files or settings as u sync back. )
4)process takes 3minutes max.
5)connect to your pc and sync everything.

(First try the second method as it is simple and fast. If doesn't work try the first one)

Ok my iPhone 4 was working perfectly until tonight, first the home screen centre button wasn't recognizing and working so my dad found me a temporary home screen button which on my touch screen now my phone is 100% frozen the middle button isn't working and the touch screen isn't working. So I can't switch my phone off to reboot it
