Is 128 GB Mac enough storage for me or will I likely run out?
I'm looking at a Mac Pro and i see for 1,200 at Best Buy you can get the 128 GB pro. Essentially, this will be my school laptop for the rest of high school and possibly the beginning of college. All pictures/videos will be on my iPad or iPhone so that won't take any storage. Same case with games, they won't be on it. Essentially, all ill have it for is writing papers, surfing the web, etc. Is 128 GB enough for me or should I spend the extra 200 for 256GB?
I'm sorry but for that kind of money buy a less expensive brand that has better specifications. 128GB isn't that much when you can get a laptop with 1TB + for less than $1000. Yes, for papers it would be plenty but why not buy something that could hold EVERYTHING and keep you going through college too?
Considering that none of your use patterns will ever change, that you do not want to store a lot of music, movies, or photos, and that you can't later buy any upgrade for the internal storage, it's fine. Why waste $200 on something that there's not more than 70% chance you will ever want? After all, it's not inconvenient to carry around an external drive and USB cable.
If it were me, though, I would go for the maximum storage, because who knows what the future holds?
By the way, it's probably a MacBOOK Pro, not a Mac Pro, right?

- Why does my IPhone run out of storage so fast? I have an 8 GB iPhone, and I ALWAYS run out of storage! I used to have an 8 GB iPod touch, and I had over 1, 000 pictures and a few pages of apps. Although, my phone runs out with just under 800 pictures and barely 2 pages of apps. Also, when I go to the usage section in settings, it says that I have no storage left but have only used 6.4 GB of memory. What do I do to fix this? Please don't say delete apps because I'm down to the only apps I use.
- Why does my iPhone keep telling me I've run out of storage data? My iPhone keeps notifying me that I've run out of storage. If I try to take a picture it tells me I don't have enough storage to take a picture. I've gone through and deleted pictures, songs, and apps but half an hour later it notifies me again that I've run out.
