It depends on how much you plan to do on it, if you plan to download games and possibly jailbreak it when one comes out then no.

It honestly depends on the person and what you are going to be doing on the phone. If you are someone who has a ton of music, emails, texts, apps, and games the 16 GB may be a bit of a tight fit for you. You also have to remember that these phones already come with a certain amount of memory used up by the default apps that apple put on them. So with the 16 GB apple really only leaves you with 13.5 GB's of space for all the things that you would like to put on it. If you are just going to be using your phones for simple calls and texts than yes the 16 gb is going to be perfect for you. It really all depends on what you are going to be using the phone for and how much you are going to use it for.
