Is 1gb data on two iphones good enough on a family plan?
I'm getting an iphone as well as my brother. We're going under a family plan. Is 1gb enough for the two of us? Majority of the time we'll be using Wi-Fi, so?
If anything it's an excessive amount. If you're accessing emails and searching occasionally you won't be using up even 100 megabytes each. If you try to only check emails and search while hooked up to a wi-fi network you might not even use 20 megabytes in a month.
If, on the other hand, you wanted to stream high quality youtube videos nowhere near a Wi-Fi connection for some confusing reason, one gigabyte won't cut it for you.
To be honest, it really depends on how many people have to share it, and what they use it for. If it was me I'd try a larger size, that's still within budget, and see whether they use up to that amount.
It may sound like a lot but believe me, in about two weeks you most likely will go over your 1GB limit… Look into a 2 or even 3 GB plan… Better safe than sorry… Overage charges are not funny!
I don't think so, I had 2gb just by myself and went over every month and paid about 130 a month. This is how cell phones providers make their money. Switch to t-mobile or net10 it's 45 a month and UNLiMitED everything.
- Would 1gb of data be enough for the iphone 4s? I plan on getting the 1gb of data per month and wondering if it would be enough for me because i don't want to go over and pay loads of money. I would be on twitter, instagram and snapchat mostly, but connecting to Wi-Fi when available. Also should i turn my data off everytime i can connect to Wi-Fi to save data or will it not be used when connected to Wi-Fi? When should i turn data off.

The only thing I go on the internet for on my phone is Facebook. Will it be enough data? Or will it be constantly looking for updates and stuff and use internet data? My old phone did that and took away heaps.
