Is 2gb of data on the iPhone 5 enough? I have Verizon?

Well, I just got a iPhone 5 and I'm a bit nervous of my Internet usage. At home, I have Wi-Fi and that's where I would be downloading apps, texting, email, YouTube, and web. Sometimes I text about of the house on IMessage since I don't have a texting plan. I don't have a Facebook, tumblr, twitter, etc. Any of those things. At school I have Internet on my iPod so i would be using the Internet on my iPod. Do you think I will go over?

2GB is plenty of data. I have a 3GB plan and use my homes Wi-Fi connection all the time. At the end of the month, i'm only using about 250MB from the data they provide (that's for Facebook, YouTube, imessaging, and internet browsing). I also occasionally download apps when i'm out. So don't be nervous, you won't go over!

  • With Verizon, can two iphones share a data package of 2GB? I have an iphone right now and it costs $30 for 2 GB of data a month. My mom wants to get rid of her basic keyboard phone and upgrade to an iPhone. But she doesn't want to pay an addtional $30 for her 2 GB of data. Is it possible for her to just use some of my data and join my 2 GB plan?

I have an iphone 5 and me and my mom are using the 2gb share everything plan but i don't know how to not go over the limit since i don't even know what the 2gb is. Like what does it use up? Does watching youtube videos affect it? Going on the internet? Streaming pandora?

It's not unlimited? So do you think the 2GB data plan is enough? I do go on the internet a lot on my phone now such as Facebook and Tumblr. I take a lot of pictures and have a lot of apps. I'm just afraid I'll go over and then my dad will have to pay more… It's already expensive enough.
