Is 500mb enough data a month for me?
I'm buying an iphone tomorrow and the deal I was looking at offered me 500mb of data. I'd be using it whenever i'm out my house for heavy twitter use, regular tumblr use, next to never facebook use, snapchat and probably often use of uploading to instagram and obviously imessage. Would 500mb be enough? I don't really understand how much gets used up doing what so please help!
Added (1). Also, does my data get used when I use imessage? Not sending pictures on it, just messages? And one last thing, if i exit an app will it still use my data up until I go to Wi-Fi settings and completely turn it off?
500 is alright but a gig is better really to be on the safe side, But if you are gonna also be using a Wi-Fi connection whenever possible you should probably be alright.
That's probably enough for that stuff. But don't watch videos. Maybe a little streaming music. I don't know about games. You can get apps that tell you how much data you've used too. When possible use Wi-Fi. That doesn't use data that way.
If you are not using video. It is enough… They count upload+download, so don't upload too much pics… Twitter and other chatting won't take much…
It's enough for Web browsing twitter… But not streaming
You should be fine, i use 500MB and i use the web quite a bit. Think of it this way, its like 30 mins if high def streaming per day or 500, 000 emails per month.

500mb is a bit low. As long as u stay away from youtube you should be ok. But 1gb would be better.
I use 300 mb just for sinc and social networks, wheater, etc. For the rest i use my Wi-Fi connection. If you used video it will be difficult to use data under 500mb.
