If you want something that will fit in your pocket, you get the 5,000mAh battery. That should only be a little larger than your phone. A 50,000mAh battery is ten times the capacity, and about 10 times the size. Like car battery size.
mAh is Milli-Amp-hours. It is a measure of the capacity of the battery. The battery in your phone is much less, you could find out in the online specs for your phone but it is probably no more than 1,500mAh. That means a 5,000mAh battery could charge your phone 3.33 times, or extend it's running time by that much. It is not a measure of output, as that depends entirely on what you have it connected to and the draw from that device.
