Is a message on FB still invisible for the other person if I delete it how I see it?

Hi! I just wrote somethin to this guy I really regret on FB! He hasn't seen it yet! But now, if I delete a message on my
Iphone on FB, messengers. It disappears how I view it. But does it delete for the other person aswelll? If not? Please if you know give me some ideas for how to delete them so that he can't see them at all!

Sending message in FB is the same as texting with your cellphone or sending email. Once sent, it's sent! What you did on your side, delete it or whatever it's just on your side.

Go to your Timeline click the little arrow top right hand side of message and click Hide From Timeline and click ok and it will hide message from everybodybut you can still find and click Show Hidden Messages.

It works like email - you can delete your copy, but that will not delete his copy - there's no way to prevent him from reading the message
