Is a screen protector NEEDED?
I recently bought an iphone 4 from a friend. It had a skinomi brand protector on front and back. The front one was bubbly and smudged and had annoying little indents on it. (I think it was because you're supposed to not touch it for 24 hours after application but she couldn't lol) so I peeled it off. When I took it off the quality was much crisper and clearer. I just don't want to put one on. I read about a screen protector test and the only thing that really scratches it is sand and dirt. I have an otterbox on it so it wouldn't shatter if it were to fall. Is it really necessary?
No actually one can scratch by even dropping the iPhone. It is for the best if you put a screen protector. You can still have good quality if you put it on the iPhone in the right position. You should by the cheap ones from play.com or something. Its better if you stick one at the back and the other one at the front.
Yes i think you need them, i buy mine in a pack of 3 or 5 from play.com low priced and free delivery, easy to put on.
If you are reasonably careful you do NOT need a screen protector on touch screens.
- Would a screen protector hide screen scratches? So I just got a new iPhone 5 last week and today I noticed that It has 2 hair sized scratches on the screen. And it's really annoying me because it's new and it already has scratches. ( probably from coins in my pocket) The scratches are really, really small, so will a screen protector hide them?

- Screen protector for iphone 5 that covers only the screen? I'm getting a skin for my i5 but I also need a screen protector. The skin is gonna cover up the whole phone so I need a screen protector that covers just the screen part. I know they make them I just can't fine them anywhere online. Anyone know where I can find one?
