Is a Verizon jet pack or mifi stronger than iPhone personal hotspot on Verizon?

I have Verizon, an iPhone 6s, our Wi-Fi went out, so we used my phone as a hotspot, I don't get good signal where I live and it was glitchy and barely worked, if I buy a Verizon jet pack Wi-Fi hotspot device (or similar) will it work better? What other option are there other than Verizon hotspot? Are any not connected to phone services?

No the jetpack actually really stinks bad and you will have a hell of a time getting them to replace it actually the best phone with the strongest signal for your Wi-Fi or your hotspot is the Droid Turbo.

I have a customer that bought a Verizon Jetpack and he lives in a fringe area sitting side by side the jetpack won't work and the Droid will.

Went to the Verizon store and the Verizon stores that are over there's nothing wrong with our jetpack it works fine in the store take it from me the computer man by the droid turbo for your best hotspot and Wi-Fi reception and tell them hell no I don't want your jetpack it costs more money and it's performance sucks
