Added (1). I've heard from other people that they sound bad on it. Well I know they don't have surround sound or have a program like Audicity in it.

But when I recorded mine I sounded fine and even had a person listen to it, response was Positive. Is it surprising for a person with 2 1/2 Years of singing to master singing on a Simple device. I'm a Tenor btw with a Bass/Baritone talking voice.
I just wanted to know if Iphones have bad microphones.

Depends, if you want it to sound professional an iphone won't do the job

You don't see professional photographers working for sports illustrated pulling out their little cellphone cameras either, so yeah common sense should have already told you this.

Yes it is because it is not big enough to pick up even the finest details. It is NOT built speifically for recording anything in high quality.

A phone microphone is intended to give the best response over normal "speech" frequencies - it's not particularly good for "hifi" or any other high quality recordings.

How well it works with any particular singing voice very much depends on your vocal range - if you happen to stay in it's best frequency range, it could be good.

If you are recording to share your music with others then it's absolutely terrible. But it has a very important value that singers aren't taking advantage of. When you practice you should record yourself and then listen to hear where you are weak. The quality of the recording is fine for that. Being able to hear yourself and evaluate your progress is invaluable.
