Is an iPhone useless without a data plan that has internet?
I was planning on buying an unlocked iPhone from Craigslist and just inserting my sim card in but i would like to know whether it's worth it or not. I will have access to the internet (through wi-fi) for the iPhone, just not a data plan that includes internet.
i want an iPhone because my current phone is crapping out on me and i need a new music device.
Yeah it's pretty much useless. The iPhone is designed with the internet in mind. When I'm using my iPhone, 90% of the time I'm on the internet. It's very convienent and I couldn't imagine life without my iPhone. I can prove somebody wrong in a matter of seconds. It doesn't get any better than that.
As long as you can be near your Wi-Fi hotspot when you need to use the internet then yes its definitely worth it.
- Way to delete useless pre-installed iPhone 4S apps? Alright, so I finally got my iPhone 4S (i know, not up to date, but it will do! And there are pre-instaled apps that I wish to get rid of to save data, save battery life, etc. The apps are stocks, maps, and weather. Surely they may be useful (well, not really stocks), but I'm only a sophomore in high school and don't need any of them as of now: P Any help is greatly appreciated! ~Jordan
- My iPhone X has been hacked is my phone useless now? My ex stole my Apple ID password and security questions and has changed them. On top of that, she has locked my apps such as my calendar and notes. I can't access nothing without putting the Apple ID PW in. Is my phone no good now? Do I have to buy another?
- How am I using data without a data plan? I have a iPhone 5s with tmobile pay as you go and to my last message I can't reply to it so I'm making a new one my data per app is 500mb
- Don't you think the iPhone 5 is now useless? I remember when it first came out. Everybody was hyped up and were waiting in line to get it. Now that the iPhone 6 is released it seems useless. The iPhone 6 just seems better in every way, including size. Do you think the iPhone five is still useful?
