Is doing this worth it? Is it a smart idea?

I'm a 17 year old guy, African( Zambian). I use a Nokia Asha 210 dual sim. I bought it on the 18th of December last year. I've used it for a month and some weeks now. Yesterday i was bathing my dog and i had it in my pocket and it slipped out of my pocket silently and water was all over it. The water entered inside and the screen was full of it. I took it for fixing and it's well now, but it's showing signs that someone wiped the screen. Will the screen stop functioning? So I'm making this decision of selling it(not on ebay or some other site. I bought it at Zmk490(US$98) approximately. I love the iphone but i can't manage to buy it, cuz i don't have a good job. I want to buy a Nokia Asha 501. Is it a wise idea? Is the Nokia asha 501 a good phone? And at what price should i sell my Asha 210?

Nokia asha cost around 100-110 $ so you sell Asha 210 for 60-65$ you put an additional 40$ and here you have the new phone. I bet you can afford 40$

The problem is that I have no money to hire programmers, and I definitely can't make it by myself. Any advice?
  • Is jailbreaking the iphone 5 ios7 worth doing? I've ben debating on jailbreaking the iphone 5 for quite sometime and i've heard many good things about it but there's always some sort of bug that goes on with the jailbreak and it doesn't always work for some people. I will like to know if this will be worth doing. Its a good way of tweaking the phone in many ways and making It faster and cooler. So guys tell me. Will this be a good thing to do or not?
  • Is it a good idea to update my iphone 4? I currently have an iphone 4 ios 5.1 modem firmware 04.12.01 and if i update to 5.1.1 will the modem firmware change to 04.12.02? And is there an unlock for 5.1.1 04.12.02 or 5.1 04.12.01? I do want to unlock it to tmobile and if there's a good solution let me know
