Is downloading music from a mp3 website legal?
If i download music from a website like mp3skull.com can i get in trouble? I know its illegal but i always assumed that it was the website that was breaking the law for providing copyrighted material but i just want to make sure. If i can get in trouble how could they find out? Would they have to go through my iPhone?
Yes, it's illegal (as you already know). Yes, it's illegal for YOU as well as the website (which you already know) and yes they can find you by your IP address.
Haha don't worry about it! You won't get introuble. The only way is if the artist of the song finds out you downloaded it and tells the police which will never happen. Enjoy your music
Lol just download it dude. Even when your on youtube go to the address bar where it says the url. Just before the word youtube type "kiss". The address should now say "www.kissyoutube.com/watch"

I tried playing the MP3s that didn't work in windows media player but they did not play.
