Is he over his ex or am i over reacting?

This all started 5montjs ago when he was planning to meet his ex behind my back. Found out by text messages on his phone anyway he said he had deleted her number. Life went on… His iPhone in synced to his iPad and I thought I would check his contacts as I kept her number for future reference. I type her number in and it was there under another fake name. Anyway when he got home from a night out his phone rang and it was a woman's voice on the other end n he was saying "i'm home now so behave… I said behave lol " so I didn't question him as he was drunk but then she rang again so I questioned him there and then and he said "you know whoit is." While smirking we argued he said he's not deleting her number as he can talk to who he likes, then when our son woke he was talking to him saying to him " we will start with calling her auntie and move up to mummy" then smiled at me asif to say your no longer need. The next morning he asked me what I wanted him to do n I said delete her number n he did but I no longer trust him as its now twice he's betrayed me over the same person oh he kept saying "i javent cheated" over n over through the whole argiemnt

What is your question - is he over his ex? Are you kidding me? Does he have to wear a sign around his neck that says, "I'm NOT over my ex" in order for you to understand? Other than bang her right in front of you, I don't see how he could make it any more obvious than he already has.

Yea i don't think hes over his ex. I mean, they could always just be friends but even at that they wouldnt be talkin on daily basis… More like aquaintances "bygones be bygones" type of relationship.

Fishy. There's something VERY fishy about this whole situation. You should break up with him, he is so totally cheating on you with his EX.

Sam, I didn't get past the first sentence since there was on need to. You can't react enough to his meeting his ex behind your back! Btw - did read a little more and came across the "auntie to mummy" line… Time to run his phone through the dishwasher and cut all of the buttholes out of his underware. You have a child together, tell him to grow up or the consequences will be extremely expensive financially and emotionally.

The fact that he made a joke of it to his son at your expense says it all ---> he thinks it's a joke and will not stop the contact with her and will only hide it better from you going forward.

I say save yourself the heartbreak and put your foot down right now… "you either end it with her for your family or you can have her"

If he can disrespect you on the little things, then he'll definitely disrespect you on the bigger things down the road.

If you trusted this guy you wouldn't go through his phone. However, the things he's said/done would suggest why you wouldn't trust him. If I were you I'd give him the ultimatum of her or you & your son. Failing that, block and delete her number from his phone and iPad. If he wants to be deceptive, so can you.
