Is iPhone 4S software update iOS 6.1.1 free?
Is iPhone 4S software update iOS 6.1.1 free?
Yes. A restore/upgrade is as simple as plugging your iDevice into your computer, opening iTunes, and selecting "Check for Update."
Alternatively, if you're running anything over iOS 5, you can head over to Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone and update through OTA (over-the-air) updates.
Yes the software is free. Just go into settings and check for the update
Yep, at least yes if you update it over your computer or over Wi-Fi. If not then it will be downloaded by your cellular data which depending on your data plan might cost some money (but really the 25 or so mb won't do much to it)
Apple don't charge for ios updates as you've already paid a lot for the device
I would recommend plugging it into itunes and doing a backup before you upgrade, justin casee anything goes a little wonky
- Why won't my iPhone 4s let me update my software to IOS 6? I've tried everything to try to get it to update! It's really starting to piss me off to the point of wanting to get rid of my phone and going back to my old android phone! Anything that may help is appreciated. I have 3gb available, so that isn't the problem. It says it's installing, then an error message pops up.
- What is iOS 7? A new iphone or a new software update? So is iOS 7 a new iPhone coming out or a new software coming up? And when is it coming out? And if its just a software update when is the next iPhone coming out?
- Software Update IOS 6.1.3 for my iPhone 4S? Now I can't open my email app, well it will open up but only run for about 3 seconds and close out to my main screen! WHAT THE *** APPLE, anybody else?
- Should I update the software on my iPhone to ios6? I'm currently using iOS 5.1.1? Have they worked out the bugs yet? Last I heard the update was having problems like running the battery dead really fast & maps was really inaccurate.
