Is iphone 5s really worth it?

Definitely worth it. It is one of the best phones right now, and also is the best selling phone as of now. It has the Fingerprint Scanner, A brilliant Camera (probably the best among current flagships), Aluminium body and a premium build which is rally great, Many great Apple Apps come prebuilt (like iMovie, Garageband, Keynote), Really good and powerful 64 bit Processor, High end processing power for apps, Has the tech to give Console level graphics, Very good connectivity with Apple devices, Lots of apps on the app store, full support for iOS 8, and more.

It's a great Smartphone and it's really worth it. I'm not saying it's the best in the world but it is one of them and the phone is Definitely worth it.

The asker asked to tell if the Apple iPhone 5S is worth it or not, but 90% of your Answer just told about how worth it the Samsung Galaxy S5 is. Your Answer is not a proper answer to the question.

And also, as I said in the comments, Samsung has more phones thus more sells, but the iPhone 5S is currently the best selling Smartphone.

You basically went to the Samsung site and wrote down all the key features there were, written in big font. Just because the Fingerprint scanner is mostly advertised in the Apple site doesn't mean it's the only feature of it.

And iPhones also have Auto Focus, and Tap to Focus. IPhones have HDR for a long time. IPhones are also getting the Health app, and besides S health IS the "Your personal fitness tracker ", these are not different features, stop copying whatever that is beautifully written in Samsungs S5 features page. The iPhone 5S also has MIMO.

The only thing that truly is great that you've written about is the Display, the S5 surely has a great display.

And finally, STICK TO THE QUESTION AND STOP PROMOTING ANOTHER PHONE. THERE ARE BETTER PHONES THAN THE S5.

5S is a great phone. You get the A7 chip, the dual core A7 outperforms any quad core phone out there, plus its the only 64bit phone. Sapphire lens over camera and fingerprint, the only phone with fingerprint ID built into the actual device, and has aluminum casing, its just really good hardware all around.

If you have other apple devices, it makes sense to get it, otherwise, I would get LG G3 or Samsung Galaxy S5

I don't see why not. Best selling iPhone ever. Best selling phone currently, iOS, getting iOS 8, etc. Only thing to make note is the upcoming iPhone 6.

It depends what you need. But in my opinion, iPhone is worth all of the price it has. Superrior game optimizations, very simple to use, great camera + slo-mo + etc.
And even if you will find out that iPhone is just not for you, you will be able to trade iPhone 5s for any other brand's best flagship. This is because Apple stuff tend to keep its price up high, and it falls very slowly, unlike other brands' stuff. Overall, I'd say it is worth trying, you won't regret it.
