Is it a bad decision to buy an iPhone 5s in 2017?

I've bought a 5s few days back. This is serving my purposes very great. But is iPhone 5s obsolete in 2017?! Can i use it at least 2 years without any hassle?!

Yeah. Soon the i phone 8 will come out.

I bought an iPhone 4S, replaced the battery, and it still doesn't hold a charge for more than about six hours.

The 5s still has some life left, not sure if it's 2 years worth however. The 5 and 5c have already been unsupported by Apple, as well as the fourth gen iPod touch. My guess is with the release of the iPhone 8, Apple will officially move on from the iPhone 5s

Maybe, The iPhone 4s Was Supported For Like 5 or 6 Years Until The 6s I Think. I Have A iPhone SE & It's Newer With More Features If You Want To Upgrade I Guess, The Camera Has 60fps And 4k, Same Specs As 6s Too, And It Will Probably Get More Updates For The Next Few Years But I Would Get A 5s For Maybe A Year

You can use it for the next two years without problems. Only problem is that you will be judged for using it. I find the iphone 6 much more easier to use when surfing the net.

Its ok. The 5s would get updates until at least 2018, but that doesn't mean it becomes useless after that point, would work in terms of app support for a while beyond that.

It's fine. I've had an iPhone 5s since 2015, and it works just fine. I have no problems with it except that the battery goes down even when I'm not using it.
