Is it able to disable find my iPhone?
Here is the deal. I lost my iPhone, but luckily it was returned to me. Nevertheless, I have to take steps against it. Find my iPhone is a good option but I question it's reliability. So please enlighten me, how does it work? Can it be disabled by a third party? Do I need to have cellular data enabled?
Find your iphone is a great app. Anyone in your family or a trusted person that you have that has an iphone can see where your iphone is. If uou loose it you can easily see where the iphone is from another person's iphone. If you want to disable it then just uninstall it.

- If I didn't activate the Find my iPhone, will it still be able to track it? Lost my iphone and I didn't know about the Find my iPhone thing. I used my mom's iphone to track the phone with this app but it says offline. Is is offline because the phone is turned off or because the Find my iPhone is not activated? Should I report this to the police? Will they be helpful because it was stolen in Philly but I live in Jersey. I just got the phone not even a month ago. Are there any other solution to find a stolen phone?
