Is it bad if I unplug my iPhone while it's restoring?

I just traded in my old phone for a new one because the screen was cracked, and I had the last one back-upped to my computer, so I plugged in my new one to restore it but I didn't realize it would take hours! I need my phone in less than an hour. Would it be bad if I unplugged it? Will it go back to the default settings like it was or will it screw up my backup?

Yes. It is Bad.

Don't do it! Lol. You might screw it up and it may not work. It shouldn't take more than 20 minutes though. You should close try to iTunes or eject the phone and see what that does.

Yes, its bad it might be corrupted

  • While Restoring iphone 5, how do I get lost texts? I asked my brother to text me right when I started restoring and updating my iphone, and it said it's going to take 2 hours because my laptop sucks. If I don't receive my bro's text when it's done, how can I get back all the texts I received while it was updating and restoring?
  • When I unplug my iPhone wall charger, everything in my room turns off? Hi, I'm in need of some help fixing whatever is wrong with my circuit board or something, I have a futon bed and recently rolled over to the side too much, over weighing the bed and lifting up the right side. It hit my wall charger which may have messed up something, I'm not a wiring geek, nor am I good with wiring, I just need a way to fix this quickly so I can watch Netflix and play Xbox, whoever can help me with a quick simple fix will be much appreciated.
