Is it bad in any way to force close apps on an iphone?
What about the app store? Will it affect or corrupt the way in which apps update and install?
The only thing that can happen would be if you had an app with a project open and it wasn't saved. If you force close the app, then any unsaved data/progress will be lost. In a worst case scenario, it could possibly corrupt save data, but it will not affect the app and/or the iOS of your phone.
In short, don't worry about it.
No it isn't & no it wouldn't corrupt anything with the App Store. Its a perfectly normal function/option of the iPhone to quit apps.
- Why do my apps keep force closing (IPhone 4S)? I was on Kik earlier and it closed and wouldn't open so I deleted it losing all my conversations. I just got them all started and it did it again. Why! It's pissing me off.
- Whenever I double-tap on the home button on my iphone, it doesn't let me close apps? Usually you just double-tap the home button, the app windows come up, and you can swipe them up to close them, right? I'm not sure what happened but nothing happens when I do this now. Also I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but imessage is kind of screwed up too, because whenever I try to type something, the text box covers up the latest text. So if you know what's going on, please tell me what I need to do to fix this, Thanks!
- My iphone screen is very dark, but if I look very close, I see the apps slightly? My iphone screen is very dark but I still see the buttons slightly, but I have to look very closely in order to. It is definitely not the brightness, because the brightness is set to 100% and its way too dark anyway. I tried restoring my phone and turning it on and off, but nothing is working. Please help. What do I do? I literally threw it out of anger and its fixed.
- Just got my first iPhone, how do I close apps to save battery? I have always had android phones and last had the htc evo. I always had an app/widget called task killer that I would tap and it would close all my running apps. Today I got my first iPhone 4 and see there are no such apps however I know I have a ton of things running, how can I close them out/save battery?
