Is it bad to let an iPhone 5 battery die out?
I was just wondering, because my friends say you have to let it drain down to 0 and then re-charge it as soon as you get the phone. And I got the phone yesterday. Is this true, and should I let it die out and then charge it?
No, it's a normal lithium battery. You don't have to wait till it dies to charge it.
It is always best to drain a new phone and then give it a 16 hour charge to increase potential battery life. You can also do this every now and again so the phone receives a full charge
