Is it cool to have an iPhone?

Like a week ago my friend asked me to bring my old iPhone 5 with me. I asked him why should i bring it when i already have my another phone (which i currently using now) and he just shush me and we went straight to the party. And when we arrived he took my iPhone 5 and went to his friends group. And when he came back later i asked him why he did that and he said it always cool to have an iPhone and every 15 years old must have one. Is it true? I have got myself a new iPhone 5s 2 weeks ago and since then he always use my phone wherever we go like when in class, cinema, park, mall etc. He always bragged about him with "his" phone in class because only i'm the one who use iPhone in class so far and that he just join in the club. I was confused… I wanted him to stop in the way that won't hurt hi feelings…

"Is it true that all 15 years old must have an iPhone?" - course not. I like the iPhone, owned 3 in the last couple of years, but that certainly does not make it mandatory to own for a 15 year old.

He is being ridiculous. Yes the iPhone is a good phone, but it certainly should not be used as simply a status symbol.

He is just trying to act cool by having an iPhone, but it's yours. Don't let him use it it's not fair, what if he broke it and you had to pay for it? It's YOUR iPhone not his. He is using you to look good.

No, 15 years old does not need an iPhone, does not need a smartphone at all, it's all luxury. And about your "so called" friend… Tell him that he can't use your phone anymore and if he insist just tell him that you sold it and use your other phone

Once again it's proven that apple products are nothing but fancy gadgets. And no, it's not necessary for every 15 year old to have an iPhone. However apple successfully tricked people into thinking that it's cool to own an iPhone that's why a lot of people blindly buy apple products.

Best design and best hardware, not sure what age but at some point you will need a phone for contacting parents or friends.

That's probably why your friend is so enamored of your iPhone. The iPhone is relatively expensive, too, so it also has snob appeal for those who worry about the prices of things.

Perhaps most 15-year-olds want an iPhone, but not all of them can afford one (which only makes them want one more, probably).

Tell your "friend" that he should be interested in you, not your iPhone. If he just wants an iPhone, let him go out and buy one of his own.
