It's not dangerous. If you look on Youtube you can find out how to do it. It's a lot cheaper than getting it replaced somewhere else
I've done it many times. It really isn't dangerous. However, if your screen is cracked, be careful to to crack even more or else bits of glass may go flying.
Just be careful with the glass.
If you know what you are doing, no.
If it is done correctly it isn't dangerous.
Knowing what I do about it, I wouldn't try it myself.
