Is it legal to sell iPhone cases?
My cousin has an on-line shop, and she mainly sells cell phone cases. Now she plans to sell iPhone cases, including the cases for iPhone 5. She wants me to help her sell the cases. So I was wondering whether selling iPhone 5 cases is a infringing act or not.

The only thing you'd need to be concerned with would be advertising and use of any trademarks of the Apple Company.
Selling the cases themselves would certainly be legal since it's a lot like selling empty bags.
It is not illegal. If you go into an Apple store and look at all of the accessories, NONE of them are made by Apple. More than any other consumer-tech company I know, Apple encourages other companies to develop products that will make the Apple products more comfortable or easier to use.
Your cousin can even use the phrase "iPhone compatible" because it IS compatible. She should avoid using a trademarked logo.
