Is it ok to bring jailbroken iphone 4 to the Apple Store for screen repair?
My the lens on back camera on the iPhone 4 is scratched and it produces foggy images. I would like to have it fixed. Apple said they can replace the back screen for $30. My iPhone is jailbroken. Should I be worried about bringing the jailbroken iPhone to Apple for hardware repair?
No, as long as you pay full price for the repair they couldn't care less.
I don't see why not, jail-breaking voids the warranty but if your paying for it they should fix it
Restore the phone(without backup because the phone might have jailbreaking residue) and then Cydia is gone. Or you could try finding a third party guy to fix it for like $100 and they could care less give you jailbroke it but if it's an Apple store, restore your phone.
