Is it ok to use iPhone while it's charging?
Or more specifically, is it healthier to play games through a wall charger or right from the battery?

Actually if you often do this, it will not be good for your battery.
I have done this but, I was not playing, I was just texting and doing some sort of stuff with my IPhone while it is still charging. Aside from the extreme heat that it produces, I can also observe that the battery life of my phone becomes smaller.

No it might actually break your iphones battery, its loosing energy and gaining at the same time, your iphone mught foget what a full charge is and nevr charege past 75%
I have done this meany times while talking on the phone, never had an issue and my battery is still great after 2 years.
- Is it true if you use an iPhone (or any phone) while charging you'll get electrocuted? Its what my mum, my dad, my auntie, my uncle, my grandpa, my grandma all keep telling me everytime they see me do it. They're not even joking. I get screamed at for doing it.

- Is it ok to use a iphone 5 while charging? Will it explode? Got the charger and phone from Apple? Is it. I heard if exploding phones from charging and using it and now I'm scared to do that again. My iPhone 5 is a couple months old now
- Is it normal for iphone charger to get hot while charging your iphone? I just bought a iphone charger off ebay and made sure its genuine and when i hooked it up it was warm then started getting hot is that normal? Its my first iphone and i know very little about them.
