I think you can. I charge a ipad and a iphone with the same charger.
Yes, it's fine. Apple would be in trouble if their chargers were incompatible or caused negative effects on people's expensive iDevices.

- What use is an ipad or ipad mini to someone with an iphone and macbook? I'm thinking of getting an ipad mini or ipad 2 for someone who already has an iphone 5 and macbook pro. I don't know how useful it will be since they are not likely to use it outside of their home and i'll be getting the non 3g version so it won't be much use when they take it out anyway.

I bought an iPhone from a foreign country and the charger's adapter is not suitable with the power port in my country, So I'm using the Android charger's adapter to connect the one end of the lightning cable and the other end to my iPhone. Both adapters were giving 5v electric current. Will this give any problem in future?!
