Is it possible for your iPhone battery to die while it is connected to a charger?

Hypothetically, is there anything on my iPhone I could do (YouTube, Facetime, 3D games, etc.) to kill my battery while it is connected to a charger. I'm not planning on doing this because I'm sure it's bad for the battery if it possible but I can't help but wonder.

Yes, that is possible if the charger is not enough amps. This happens very often with Android phones.

Yes, As the person below said and you could FRY the battery which happened to me because my galaxy s sucks very badly.

No you should not be able to run your battery down while connected to the OEM home charger. If it does run down something is wrong.

Well no. Its being charged. The battery life can't go down as its being charged.

If its plugged into the wall, no… I do this all the time while I"m on my iphone and have never had an issue with the battery, some batteries this is bad to do this, the iphone battery is not affected.

  • Why is my iPhone battery decreasing while it's on the charger? I have had this iPhone for almost 2 years, and it charges while connected to a computer just not pulled into the wall… Can anybody tell me what's wrong with my phone?
  • Why does my iPhone battery die so quickly? I had my iPhone for about a year and a half, and recently I've noticed that the battery is draining incredibly fast. I've always had it on 3g internet/Wi-Fi and the battery never died this fast so I don't know what the exact problem is. I charged it to 100% yesterday and I only used it for maybe about 10 minutes and left it untouched for the rest of the night. Today when I woke up the phone was dead. I haven't changed the settings or anything fyi.
  • Why does my iPhone battery die so fast? I have boost magic, which is supposed to help my battery last longer, and I kill all my apps when I'm done using them. I go from 100 at 8am and I'm at 60 by 9:30am. And I hardly use it too, just to look up information quickly and I just set my phone aside. I let it go down to 20% battery and let it charge over night. It just started doing this recently. I also keep my brightness to pretty much 0 with the auto brightness on. And it still dies fast. What can I do?
  • Why does my iphone 4s battery die so quickly? My phone can be on 100% Battery, and spending the whole day at the mall, barely being used, And after about 3 hours it goes to10% Battery. Why does it do that. Any suggestions?
