Is it possible that my pc gets hacked through my internet router?

So i wanted to connect my iphone 5 to my internet router "3com" and suddenly is said "incorrect password" but i was sure of the password, so i called the company and they changed the password for me… But i fear that i might be hacked and some 1 changed the password

my pc is secured and it is connected to the router via LAn, but my family are connecting their devices via wireless.
but their PCs might not be as secured as mine, so is it possible that some one hacked it and changed the password

and if they did… Is it possible for them to access my pc info, through that router?

First you have to enable router firewall give a multipl login password be sure to use antivirus and firewall on your pc also admin password for your windows is required now the hacking of your pc info chances is 0.1%- that is it

It's possible for it to happen. In fact I had this happen to me once before right in front of my eyes, they were controlling the mouse and everything. Luckily for me though his intentions were only to freak me out and not to destroy my computer. I'd advise you to advise them to get anti-virus software and scan the computer. Peer block might help a little as well, It's software to prevent anybody tracking your computer. Here's a link: http://www.peerblock.com/

  • What's the difference between a cheap router and a good router? Just wanted to know the difference between a cheap router and an expensive router, I know that is a very broad question, I'm just a bit confused on how a router works. Does it increase my Internet speed on multiple devices? I get 50Mb per second, Well at least that's what I pay for. I have a PS3 two iPhones and a tablet, as well as a desktop PC that is wireless. Can anyone recommend an excellent router under $150
  • Laptop won't connect to internet through router? I set up my new linksys n300 router and I can successfully connect to the internet through the Wi-Fi on my iphone but on my laptop, I get an exclamation point symbol. Troubleshooting the problem says its a problem with my access point but seeing as how the Wi-Fi works on my phone, I'm not sure this is the case. How can I fix this?
  • Laptop gets slow internet connection, yet all my other devices get it at full speed? This never used to be an issue up until a few weeks ago, we had a 60MB connection that was buffed up to 100, my laptop used to download at around 5.5 - 6MB per second, whereas now its between 2 and 2.5, yet my iphone and all other computers in the house still get the full speed. I have checked the drivers which are all up to date, I can't discover the problem, what could be causing this? And how can I go about solving it?
  • Is it possible for my iPhone to be hacked if it's not jailbroken? It's not jailbroken, and I don't let strangers on my phone so no spyware apps were downloaded. Still, is it possible? Sometimes I hear what sounds like a whole crowd of people talking without any apps being open.
