Is it possible to alter the date a text msg was received on an iphone?
Ie; can a date on a text someone sent a few weeks/months/years be changed to a more recent date to make it appear as if it was a recent text?
Added (1). Ohh no I'm just wondering, nothing i was trying to do, was just told someone else did it
Only if you have iMessage
No it's impossible, but you can change that persons name under someone else's number and get them to text you as if its that person, no one will ever know, it works
You could try forwarding the txt to another phone then forwarding it back to your phone.may work. Or maybe copy n paste it into a new txt message and send to yourself.
