Save yourself from a huge suffering and DON'T bring any unlocked iphone with you to lebanon… I'm speaking from personal experience… I had an iphone 4s as a gift from outside of lebanon and it was locked… I have taken it to more than three shops… One said it is impossible, second said that he needs 150$ to do it (that's 1/4 of the phone's price!) and the third said that it will need 3 to 4 weeks to do it and there's a risk that it will not work… I'm frustrated! I decided to use it an ipod… I really recommend you to get it unlocked from the frensh carrier that you are on, it is a lot cheaper and way easier

But after the new law of registering the phones nobody is getting all the types of the phones like before
