Is it possible to download Apps on the iPhone without Wi-Fi?
I have an IPhone 4S for Sprint ad when I'm not at home I try to download Apps and when I try, it says we can't download this app. Is something wrong with my phone or is itchy supposed to happen?
Sprint may have locked the download apps on 3G/4G. Usually the message comes up when you don't have a data connection.
You should be able to download most apps without being hooked up to wireless. Keep in mind though that some apps are to big for you to download over your wireless network, so they do require you to be hooked up to a wireless network, but not all apps require it. If you are having trouble downloading any and all apps without them stating that you must be connected to wireless, then something might be wrong with your phone and I would suggest that you contact your carrier for help.
I have the same phone you have, and the same service, I can download apps without Wi-Fi just fine, they just download slower. There are certain apps which require Wi-Fi to be downloaded because they are so big.example… Skype has to have Wi-Fi to be downloaded. But smaller apps that don't take up as much space can be downloaded just fine
