Is it possible to retrieve permanently deleted videos on your iPhone?
I was distracted and I accidentally deleted a couple videos that got permanently deleted. Checked in the recently deleted files and it's still not there so I accidentally deleted them permanently. Is there any way to get them back? (That doesn't involve paying to download a recovering software)
No, it is not. Once deleted, they're gone for good.
The keyword is permanently deleted. There are two ways a computer (such as your phone) can delete a file. It can either delete the marker pointing to the file (which is very fast but not permanent) or it can wipe all the data where the file was stored at.
in the first case recovery is generally very quick and easy. In the second case recovery is impossible. Even if you get paid software you will not recover any files. You are SOL, you should have backed up everything.
You could retrieve it from your iTunes backup, but I'm guessing you don't backup your iPhone.
