Is it possible to see the text messages that your child receives?

My girlfriend has Verizon, and she has an iphone. Her parents say they can read her texts. However, can they not read the texts i send her? I'd think that would be a no, but i'm not sure. She is 17 at the moment.

I know there's two ways to this. Number 1 is really simple, is knowing the phone passcode to have access and see the content. And number 2 I installing a software in the phone. Having a software in the phone will allow her parents to see a lot of things including the text messages. The way this works is that every time your girlfriend gets a message, the software will notified her parents through any device that has internet connection[computers, cellphones… ]

It is possible to see sent and received texts on your child's smartphone no matter who the carrier is.
Not only can you see the texts, buy you can also see the photos that are on the phone AND see where your child is at if the phone is GPS enabled.
It's an app that installs on the phone and you can monitor the texts from any PC.

  • My iPhone 4 receives and sends text messages but can't send or receive photos? Barely bought a new iPhone 4, put my sim card into it and the iphone won't let me receive or send picture texts. I can send message texts and receive them, but not picture ones. It keeps giving me an error (red exclamation point) on by my picture. Tried all your suggestions. Still doesn't work and yes I can attach to emails and stuff but just can't text photos.

  • Is it possible to see sends and receives trough the router? If someone has access to the main router, can he check the connected devices activities? For example if an iPhone is connected to this router, is it possible to check what does the app's on iphone do. Or being able to see or read images and texts? If so is there any way to encrypt data?
  • IPhone receives text conversations from random people? My dad's iPhone 4 keeps receiving text conversations from several numbers. There are outgoing messages as well, as if he sent them (but he didn't because he doesn't text).In other words, it's as if he's watching two people text a conversation. Before calling our service provider, what can we do? By the way, he bought the iPhone used. But he's had it for a few months already and this just started happening now.
