Is it possible to use the same itunes as someone else?
My husband and I both have iphones, but we have only one computer. I'm scared that if i plug my phone into the computer it will delete all of his information. Is it possible to share the same itunes, or could i make my own account with the computer then install itunes again under my name? I'm so confused and really need some help
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to answer your question.
There are a few facets to your question…
First, if you and your husband use the same Apple ID to make purchases and iCloud backup purposes, then you are completely fine to plug your iPhone in and do your backup etc. It will ask you if you want to transfer your purchases etc.
If you use different iTunes/Apple ID's then I would recommend that you use two different iTunes libraries. It's a best practice of my family, because my sister and mother use the same MacBook for their iTunes libraries and they used to squabble about each others music tastes.
PC) To create a new iTunes library hold down the Shift Key and navigate to the iTunes program in your Start Menu. You will then be asked to choose or create a library.Name it what you would like to name it and you will see a new iTunes application open with no files and you can start from scratch.
Mac) To create a new iTunes library hold down the Option (Alt) Key and select the iTunes app from your dock or Applications folder, the following steps are the same as PC.

- Will Verizon let me use an iphone from someone else? So, I have a blackberry and I have had it for about a year now. I've been wanting an iphone and I plan on maybe buying one from someone on Ebay or something since it's a bit cheaper. Would Verizon let me use an iphone that I bought from someone and not from their store? And would they let me change my plan with it since mine is for a blackberry?
- Verizon: Can I use an upgrade from someone else on my plan? I have an iPhone 4S and I'm not due for an upgrade until March of next year, but I would like to upgrade to an iPhone 5C. My mom (who is on my plan) has an upgrade available that she doesn't want to use (she does not have a smartphone, just a basic flip phone. I don't know if that matters or not). So I was wondering, am I able to use her upgrade to get a 5C? We have verizon.
- ITunes festival getting in with someone else's passsbook tickets? A friend can't go to the itunes festival tomorrow for Paramore so she has given me her tickets. I have loaded the tickets on to my passbook on my iPhone. The terms and conditions state that you ONLY need to bring the passbook tickets and photo ID. The passbook tickets do NOT have any names attached to them. When they scan the QR code, does my friends name pop up on their machine? Or not? That's the only problem I see, otherwise I should be able to get in, and just show my photo ID.
- Is there a way I can use an iPhone that's logged onto someone else's iCloud? I recently found an iPhone 5s out in the street perfectly fine but it's logged into the owners iCloud and in order for me to restart it I have to put in that persons password and I've been told that there's no way for me remove that account. So I was wondering if anyone knows if it's safe to use it like that and just add another account or if I can use it some other way?
