Is it possible to wirelessly restore an iPhone (through a computer)?

I was thinking that if my iPhone was stolen or something, I need a way to get rid of it's info wirelessly. Like restoring it to factory settings and permanently deleting and over writing its hard drive

You could set a password for your iPhone and turn on the setting where if you were to type in your password incorrectly, it would delete your phone's data after 10 tries.

  • How would you wirelessly stream music from your iTunes to your iPhone? So I have an apple TV and its connected wirelessly to my computer so I can listen to music from my itunes library through the Apple tv with no problem. Can the same thing be done with my iPhone, I want to plug it into my dock to listen to music but I don't want to put actual music on the phone, so I figured I could just stream it to the phone from my computer like I do with the apple tv. Can you even do this and if so how?
