Is it right to forgive him or not?

(We're two years apart. He's two years older than me) I told my mom he cracked this man's iPhone and so He decided to paint all over my tv and so I hit him so next thing you know we're fighting. He punched me right in my eye and everywhere. Then I blacked out and tried to hurt him as much as I could and my mom took us away and wouldn't let me out of her room so I called the police but my mom hung up. So when I got out the room, he punched me senseless on top of my head and I couldn't move my neck for a week. I haven't talked to him for a month and a week and my grandma, mom, and her friend keep getting on to me and blaming me that I'm not talking to him and should forgive him and say sorry. It doesn't make sense to me. I'm a female and younger one. He's older and a male.

No don't say sorry, you shouldn't have told though if you knew it would cause problems, also he shouldn't have hit you especially the second time

Well no matter what family is family but he should not beat you up and get away with it

He's a violent pig and his behavior will get worse. Please ask your mom to get him to anger management classes. Your brother will go on to bash another girl. He's got temper issues. Take care of yourself and watch your back. Be safe
