Is it safe to jailbreak my iPhone 4?

I don't know. I saw these really cute themes, but I have to jailbreak my iDevice to get it.
I've had my phone for over a year, and I heard it slows down alot, I just wanted to hear others opinions.

It can be bad for your phone. It does slow it down a bit, but nothing you might be able to handle. Another reason it might be bad is if you download something/anything it could be a virus and screw your phone up. But a good thing with it is that you can completely customize your phone with it, like whatever you want to change in you phone you can change it. Oh and before you do it call apple to make sure your warranty is over because if you jailbreak it and you take it to get fixed they won't do it because you jailbroke it

I wouldn't use the word 'safe'… Really

jailbreaking is to be able to use function previously not allowed by iOS and Apple.

but you need to know that if you attempt a jailbreak with mistakes, it ain't good.

if you do a jailbreak i read this thread on apple rumors site that if your jailbroken phone breaks that

"voids your Apple warranty" and you will not be able to fix your phone.

Apple will know right away that it's jailbroken. They will refuse to fix anything even if it can be fixed…

but it might just be a rumor.

I've used iphones and ipads for 3 years and they never broke… (because i never jailbroke them)
