Is it safe to skype with some1 you met online?

I wanted to skype with this guy hes 16 i'm 13 and i known him for about 6months now. He seems a normal type of guy i talk to him through a game on my iphone. I was wondeing if i should videochat with him on skype. He asked me about it and i said no. Since then he never asked me about skyping not forcing me to or anything. Should i? (I haven't given him any info and wouldnt even if he asked. Like address, date of birth, even my real name. Told him a fake one instead) is there any dangers of skyping with him? (Video chat ) should i? Would you?

Personally I don't see any harm. In my opinion you have known them for long enough and I would if it was me but that is just my opinion x

Nope. If you don't know him in person then you shouldnt cos you don't know him! I wouldnt. To stay on the safe side I don't think you should.

I think its perfectly fine for you to skype with this guy but only if you want to… But if he asks you to do something sexual or he starts to do something sexual then leave immediately and stop talking to him unless you want to do it

No I wouldn't, and neither should you.
Just like you are not telling him your real information, he could be doing the same thing. He could not even be 16 years old for all you know. Be careful there are dangerous people out there. I don't at all think that you should skype with him. Just keep talking to him through your i-Phone if you want to, but don't use Skype. Whatever you decide to do, think it through!
