Is it time for a new battery for my iPhone 4S?
Just got a second hand iPhone 4S with iOS 7 I had iOS 7 on my last one which I lost anyway to the point I'm talking 1-2% every minute or 2 my brightness is down, location services are off, Bluetooth off etc 3G is ON although before I could easily get 7-8 hours on 3G I'll be lucky if I get 4 on this using it a lot, should I get a new battery?
**Also the other day it cut out at 20% a few times though it's going down to 1% now**
How old is the phone? After a couple years, the battery is likely to show diminished capacity, although it will still work for much longer, depending on how willing you are to tolerate reduced battery life. If it's not lasting long enough to please you, just get it replaced. It's not free but it's usually cheaper than buying a whole new phone (then again, a bad battery can provide a handy excuse to get a better phone, if you want one).
If your contract is up, then just get 4S on a new contract, 4S is free on a 2 year contract so you can get a free upgrade that way. Thats better then putting money into an older version, you can even trade it in now and get something back for it.
- My iphone 5s had low battery life so i ordered a new battery and replaced it? But still the battery life is same as before even if its new one… Could the phone be probelmatic? Also my sis gave me an iphone 5 and its battery life is way bigger… Could i take the battery of 5 to take it on 5s?
- I can't tell if my iPhone needs a new battery or just a new charger? So my iPhone 5s (I just bought it 3 months ago) has been charging for literally 12 hours and its still dead! It's plugged into the charger and all that shows up is the red battery thing. Do I need to get a new battery?(ugh but my phone is practically new) or do I need a new charger?
- How to advance time on my phone to advance time in an app for iPhone 5? Some games on iPhone 5 have time restrctions, where you can only use so many lives within a certain time frame. Is there a way to change the time on the phone to "advance" the time in the app? If so, how can that work? I tried to change the date and time manually and reopen the app, but nothing changes.
- How much time does the battery of your iPhone 5 last? I bought an iPhone 5 yesterday, I used it until it switched off. Later I charged the battery for 12 hours, then I used a lot, and in 3 hours the battery was 53% charged. Is it normal? ps: sorry for my bad english
