Is it weird that I don't like the iPhone?

Sometimes people will ask me to help them move their photos on their iPhones to the computer and the needless difficulty of it just drives me crazy.

I don't understand why they're so popular. They're not easier to use, even for the technologically impaired. If you sync the wrong thing, you can end up losing all your photos. They're overpriced and hard to use. And because you can't do much with it, it eventually gets really boring. But it seems people can't wait to get the next new iPhone.

The android on the other hand… You can pretty much do whatever you want with it. If you get a good Android phone, they look just as nice as, if not nicer than, an iPhone. I think the higher-end Androids are overpriced too but at least they don't drive you insane trying to move around photos and stuff.

So what am I missing? If people think it's a status symbol, then how is it a status symbol when all it says is you're willing to buy an overpriced product that is hard to use. And some people get into debt just to buy them, so how is it a status symbol? It tells you nothing about your true status.

Is our human race stupid?

Added (1). I wrote 4 paragraphs and now more, because people around me prefer iPhones yet when they need to do anything with it, I'm the one they come to, because they don't know how to do it. So guess how many iPhones I have to deal with. But they keep updating the iOS, what worked before doesn't work anymore. It always takes me hours to just try to download or upload the photos.

Added (2). So it annoys me, and I guess I could refuse to help them, but I'm just nice. But still I get annoyed. And I see you have attacked me as a person because you don't have a better argument, because what I've said is true. By the way I have an iPhone and an iPad but they were given to me as gifts. I did enjoy them in the beginning but the constant updates, the locked system, are super annoying and today you couldn't get me to buy one.

Added (3). I'm seriously wondering what's the hype about iPhones that people constantly need to buy new ones when their old one still work.

Added (4). Just don't update, because it will make your old iPhone super slow. Then you'll really have a reason to buy a new one.

Its not weird loads of people hate iphones or apple in general. So don't worry, you aren't a hipster. Its normal. As for easier to use, yes they are. I have had an iphone for years and years and have NEVER had a problem. The syncing thing you are talking about is ridiculous and you have to be dim to do that. It comes up with options when you sync. The android is good too, I don't prefer its looks but I like how customizable it is. Iphones are just great, the layout, the technology, the screen resolution, the pictures, I just love them. Loads of people do. Its all a matter of preference, no need to insult people.

So you think thats difficult to move them to a computer? Lmao, you don't have any idea what you are even talking about. Apparently you are jealous enough to write to come here and write 4 paragraphs.
