Is it worth getting an iPhone 3GS?
They are sitting around $230 NZD, whereas the iphone 4, and 4s are sitting around $400-$550 NZD on trademe. (like ebay). I need a smartphone, but want a half decent one thats cheap (ish) too. Is it worth getting a 3GS now that the 4, 4s AND 5 are all out? I don't care about being 'cool' and having the latest one, just need to know if its any good!
Based on what I've read, it's a good phone unless it's important to you for a phone to have a front camera for video calls. On the other hand, the newer models have a front camera and the iPhone 5 has a larger screen size (4 inches) compared to the previous models which are 3.5 inches. If you don't care too much about screen size, then go for 3GS
Well the 3GS is no longer made, so that's a negative. It does get updated still though, which is good but since it is the oldest of the currently updated iPhones it will be the 1st to stop being updated & that will definitely be before iOS 7 later this year. Not a matter of having the latest one, just one that wouldn't become obsolete too soon afterwards.
If anything go for the iPhone 4 at least.
- Will it be worth getting th iPhone 5? I got a new windows phone and 2 year contract last year. But the announcement of the iPhone 5 has got me thinking. I have a very old itouch, the keyboard barely works and I can't download most apps. I was wondering would it be worth buying out of my contract and getting a new contract? Cheers
- Is there any way of getting iPhone 5 for 199$ and getting rid of the contract? I just want the phone and wanna get rid of the contract without paying for it. I know how to unlock the phone so that's not a problem.
- Is the iPhone 5s still worth getting in 2015? Is it getting obsolete? My mom might be considering on getting me an iPhone, but she said that i Can't get a 6. She might be getting me a 5s instead. I don't know when yet though. How many years will Apple support software updates? It is already almost two years old and is it still a worth getting?
- Is the iphone 5 worth getting for a 2 year contract, and paying 200 dollars? I have a old blackberry but it works so I don't know if I should change it. I'm getting a verizon iphone
