Is it worth it to get an iPhone? - 2

I'm supposed to be eligible for an upgrade in November for a new phone. I want to get an iPhone but i'm not sure. They make a new iPhone every year sometimes twice and with the contract i'd have i would have it for 2 years. Is it really worth it to get an iphone?

Get an iPad or iPad mini they don't change those kind of stuff too quickly like iPhones

Its not, a phone is just basically for calling, all these extras are just for entertainment purposes only, get some cheap phone will do don't get addicted to phone or you will lose touch with nature.
