Is it worth it to upgrade from an iPhone 4S to a 5C?

I currently have a 16GB iPhone 4S. Due to storage space issues, I want to upgrade to a 32GB or 64GB model. I'm considering getting the 32GB iPhone 5C, since it's cheaper than a 5S with the same capacity.

Is this a good idea? Will a "budget"-level model like the 5C be at least on-par with the 4S, performance-wise? Or would it be smarter to get the more expensive 5S? I just don't know if it would be worth it to spend $100 more when my main priority is just storage space.

What do you think?

If that's the mains reason why you want it then 5C will work fine for your needs. Minus a few camera features and the fingerprint scan, the 5c 32gb will be just fine. Best luck.

If you're purely upgrading for storage space, go with the 5c. The 5s has a slightly better camera and a fingerprint scanner although I don't believe it's worth it. You will be able to get all the performance and picture quality you need out of the 5c. Also if you wait until the iPhone 6 comes out, all the 5 models will be cheaper. It's up to you but in my opinion, the 5c is the smarter choice.

Change to Samsung, they are so much better

No. It's not worth it to get any apple product. They are succubi eatting away at your soul.

The 5c will be a great choice. You will have one of the fastest phones on the market, plenty of storage (depending on the model) and you will not have to replace the phone for several years.

If we're talking about the inconvenience and cost of upgrading just because of storage space, you might want to consider getting a phone with expandable memory. Unless there's some other reason keeping you from moving away from iPhone, I'd definitely consider changing platforms.

Don't get me wrong, I use iPhone too, but it's partly because I bought the model with the most storage space and it's not an issue for me. If I need more space, I'll move on to Android - there's nothing lacking in performance with them.
