Is it wrong leaving Wi-Fi enabled on my iPhone 4s when I'm home?
Does that decrease battery life or damage it in any way? Or should I just set the Wi-Fi to "off" and enable it only when I need it?
It decreases battery life, as in needing to charge it. But it doesn't hurt the over all life of the battery. The thing about turning it off though too… Is that you run the risk of data going through cellular instead of Wi-Fi. Which would add to the data charges.
No, only when your not home, this is because the iPhone 4S will continuously search for a signal, draining the battery.
I would leave it on, then if leaving the house, turn it off.
Wi-Fi drains battery, but this won't effect the battery life
whenever you don't the Wi-Fi, turn it off
- Will the next iPhone be NFC enabled? I'm just wondering whether NFC capability will be introduced in the iPhone 5S when it is launched.
- When you turn Wi-Fi on with a 3G enabled iphone, does your phone stop using 3G? When youre in a Wi-Fi hot spot and you switch the Wi-Fi switch on, does the 3G stop being used or does it continue to go down even while the Wi-Fi is on? Should I switch the 3G switch off when Wi-Fi is on to conserve data?
- Wi-Fi on my iPhone keeps leaving I have a iPhone 4S ( iOS 6.1.3 ) sprint and my Wi-Fi just randomly leaves and comes back a couple minutes later, it's really annoying. I tried resetting my network settings and doing a service update and my Wi-Fi hasn't got any better. Does this happen to everyone else or is it just me. Also how do I fix this?
- Old iphone Icloud lock still enabled after I buy a new iPhone with icloud on it? If I had my iPhone stolen with icloud lock on and I was tracking it. But I buy a new one and activate the icloud and tracker, does that mean the old iPhone is unlocked? What happens to it? Will I be notified if someone turns it on? Can I track it?
