Is it wrong to pray to God for a good deal?

So i'm a christian & I pray once or twice a day. My phone cracked really badly so my moms been trying to find me another iphone but It's hard to find one thats 200$ or under. I prayed to god to help me and my mom find a good deal on an iphone cause we been looking for one for a while now. Is that bad?

What harm could it do? I haven't noticed Him relieving the pain and suffering in the middle East yet, or providing water and food to the children in Africa, but I hear He's into the new media thing… Facebook and such.

Matthew 6:7 "And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions." In other words God is not there to help you find a good deal on a cell phone.

No why would it be? Do you think the Pope ends up paying $$$ on a phone? I don't because he probably gives most of the money he earns away… So I think even the Pope needs a good deal on a phone.

It is not bad
but if you have faith and wait, then God will grant it too you after your faith has been tested.
god answers prayers in three ways, hes, no, and wait
by waiting, your prayers are stronmg and unrelenting and your faith is builted up and strengthened.
god will grant you by making you find a cheap phone in the newpaper section, from a friend, or by word of mouth.
keep the FAITH

He ignores non religious prayers, especially those who are not submitted through Jesus. And you must use God's real name…

I don't know may be, but all these answers are given by humans, don't imagine Jesus answered these & don't go believing in these human's made up answers, human's are expert in making up god's stories, you should ask your god to answer.
