Is my iPhone 4S $80 a month plan a rip off?
I got an iPhone 4S today on a 24 month $80 per month plan. The phone is discounted to $799, as opposed to the $1020 it costs up front. The plan includes my usual minutes, txts and data, which i used to pay $20 per month for.
How much will this have cost me by the end of my plan? Is this plan ripping me off?
Added (1). I'm from New Zealand where there are only 2 main carriers you can get iPhone plans on. This was the better of the two. I'm just wondering how much money it's costing me overall.
Yes. It is a rip off & you are stuck in a contract now too!
You could have bought the phone on the discounted price & went with a No Contract carrier like Cricket or other I-phone plans that cost $50 a month.
Best Buy has a Free buyer's guide that lists all the Iphone & smart phone plans by carrier & cost. It is an excellent way to find out what plan will be best & affordable without getting ripped off.
- IPhone 5S for £38/$63 a month, or iPhone 5C for £33/$55 a month? I've just got an iPhone 5C, 24 months £33 a month, 500mb of data, £10 up front payment. But i've just realised that I might be able to just afford an extra £5 a month for the iPhone 5S, which would be 1gb data and £40 up front cost. So i'm tempted to swap for that, what do you think?
- If I get a two year contract do I still pay month to month? So I have recently broke my phone and I heard the iPhone 5c is coming in a about a week, so if I bought the iPhone with Sprint would I still pay month to month or do I pay for 2 years up front?
- How to rip music from Spotify? So I wanted to get my music from Spotify to the music app on my iPhone (I have an iPhone 5) and I can't install any program to my computer, and I'm broke so I can't pay for anything. This is difficult but if you know I'd love your help, thanks.
